Who is B_Kait

My name is Bruyninckx Kaitlyn, also known as B_Kait.
I was born in Belgium on July 16th, 2004, with a visual impairment.
For many years, I dedicated myself to drawing. I participated in several art competitions, starting in 2018 and ending in 2024, all organized by Art and Lowvision. The artwork that won my very first competition was auctioned in 2024. I donated it to the auction since the proceeds went to charity, supporting BGHSG.
My passion for music began in 2025. I always loved listening to songs and singing along, but I didn’t realize until then how deeply music was a missing part of me.
My very first song was written for my girlfriend. A friend helped me turn my lyrics into music, and I loved the result so much that I wanted to create more. At first, it was just for her, but soon music became my way to study and, ultimately, the most important way I express myself.
It took me about half a year to teach myself how to publish and protect my songs. Now, you can find me and my work under the name B_Kait.
